Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Peruzzi having to interfere. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Pernambucano in the 9th minute of play. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of the match. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernando Pernambucano got free with Rolando Noboa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Blasi in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Oséias Palmeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Peruzzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Pernambucano in the 61st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Ale Nesta with Zhu Tian Sha as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Koehler in the 79th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 85th minute of play. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. At last the ball reached Alonso Berganza at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Borussia Dortmund MZB. 1-2. In the 94th minute Dmitry Ilyushin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Borussia Dortmund MZB's Luis Blasi to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
