After taking down the ball on Soroca F.C.'s corner Gustavo Tartalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Gustavo Tartalo shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 15th minute, 1-0. Gustavo Tartalo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Tartalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cyprien Combaz made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 33 minutes, Adrián Espadas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Milagros Fraga to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Wennerqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Wennerqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soroca F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adrián Espadas made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Dan Wennerqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adrián Espadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Gustavo Tartalo. 63 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. In the 63rd minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Peru got a corner. In the 87th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dan Wennerqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Răzvan Necula took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 96th minute, Răzvan Necula made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
