Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olivier Gilg started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg. But to his dismay, Olivier Gilg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Betinho Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Donato came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Betinho Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Betinho Moreno got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Gilg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Olivier Gilg came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Donato having to interfere. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Délio Furtado was substituted for Alan Franco.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Chico Donato was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. When DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Olivier Gilg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Chico Donato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 68 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Rodrigo Cisterna was substituted for Délio Furtado. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner. Song Xiong Hong went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Kenny Rothwell. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Betinho Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, DIPLOMATA FC PAB could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
