Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Tony Påk came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Gremio Viana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Påk couldn't finish the play. Tony Påk charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Påk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Joaquim Paredes rounded Paraguay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Joaquim Paredes sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Joaquim Paredes put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Joaquim Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's Joaquim Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Paredes in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Paredes in the 33rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Joaquim Paredes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 5-0. Gremio Viana's attentive Albi Koka managed to snatch the ball when Ivan Prats made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. If Joaquim Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Påk struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Paredes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Joaquim Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Joaquim Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albi Koka scored 9-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Fiúza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Carlos Luna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Mohamed Ali Bomba replaced Severino Torcato. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Carlos Luna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Luna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Luna in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Luna came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Carlos Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Luna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0.
