JURIDIQUES F.C's Thomás Vianna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of JURIDIQUES F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. After some careless play in the JURIDIQUES F.C defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráuzio Abraão. The JURIDIQUES F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráuzio Abraão should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 31st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germano Rebelo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Germano Rebelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Dráuzio Abraão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 59th minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Germano Rebelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Rebelo in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomás Vianna was slow to take the kick. During this time JURIDIQUES F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner led JURIDIQUES F.C's Thomás Vianna to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Toninho Pinho got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by José Maria Batista. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to JURIDIQUES F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marco Teles hit a great ball. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
