Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper, Joaquin Gayoso, was totally fooled by JURIDIQUES F.C's Thomás Vianna, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. A collision led to JURIDIQUES F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Davi Gerber hit a great ball. A hard shot 58 in the game by Maximiliano Escribano from a close distance when the talented Dráuzio Abraão managed to make a qualified save. JURIDIQUES F.C's players were relieved. Germano Rebelo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JURIDIQUES F.C. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Rebelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Dráuzio Abraão in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Escribano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Dráuzio Abraão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maximiliano Escribano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Dráuzio Abraão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 81st minute, Francisco Seco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Germano Rebelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dráuzio Abraão firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 97th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. The JURIDIQUES F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
