An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Johansson in the 3rd minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliott Bergsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Çakır Alyakut made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Bergsten got free with Çakır Alyakut in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to A.A. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Koenig got free with Çakır Alyakut in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henk Veerman struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Renan Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1930 Bafraspor. A collision led to 1930 Bafraspor getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Henk Veerman hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Veerman was the one to do the kick off. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Johansson in the 57th minute of play. Joel Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 1930 Bafraspor's Henk Veerman in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A. Charlie Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakır Alyakut having to interfere. 1930 Bafraspor's Osman Gulson was substituted for Cenap İkinci. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıdvan Balıkçı took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Melo. Renan Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
