The audience was convinced that Federico Girotti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The throw-in from Antonio Indiano in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Super Chechona FC's Alexander Simbert. In the 19th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Super Chechona FC's Severo Montrelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 24th minute of play forced Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Severo Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Girotti in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Girotti's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Super Chechona FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celedonio Iratze ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rogelio Tuste was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severo Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The Super Chechona FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Super Chechona FC's Federico Girotti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match, Abram Sarmiento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severo Montrelle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Montrelle. Severo Montrelle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 66th minute, Gonzalo Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Super Chechona FC's Modesto Guillen was substituted for Federico Girotti. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Secada in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Montrelle saved Super Chechona FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Abram Secada sped through Super Chechona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severo Montrelle. Gerardo Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Modesto Guillen notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalo Romano's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Romano helped the player get up and apologised. If Modesto Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Guillen in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
