In the 15th minute of the match Ahmet Ege Nesefi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ahmet Ege Nesefi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Uhin in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brickeen Wall having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Uhin in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Karamázov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 63 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Uhin in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Karamázov made a substitution. Dimitri Karamazov replaced Teodosio Ugaitz. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aureliano Cordeara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aureliano Cordeara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Uhin in the 73rd minute of play. If Braulio Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Braulio Uhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Braulio Uhin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karamázov and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Karamázov getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Braulio Uhin hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Karamázov had won after a very even match.
