The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dirk Toeback made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Cresitobalo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, INFIERNO KSK's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Walery Bejger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walery Bejger. INFIERNO KSK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Cresitobalo in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Toeback came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Vanderhaege, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 78th minute. INFIERNO KSK made a substitution. Anthar Mhenni replaced Mauro Cresitobalo. In the 79th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Anthar Mhenni came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walery Bejger having to make a save. Dirk Toeback received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INFIERNO KSK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
