After a rather tough play, Digital Monsterz FC's Christer Nyberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Isidro Gabrio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isak Jacobsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sylwester Dankowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Heidemann in the 34th minute of play forced Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper Reynaldo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Heidemann came free, but Reynaldo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper Reynaldo Astrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Digital Monsterz FC's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hao Jian Yuan. After the first half Digital Monsterz FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Reynaldo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 58th minute of the match. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Enzo Francescoli was substituted for Isidro Gabrio. After some careless play in the Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb defense, Leandro Heidemann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Astrada. The Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Astrada should have stopped the shot. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Eduardo Orlanda was substituted for Eustaquio Dabi. Isak Jacobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, Enzo Francescoli made a precise shot to the right of Isak Jacobsson. Digital Monsterz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Digital Monsterz FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Digital Monsterz FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
