Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 6 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Sabastian Rodriguez. After having played for 12 minutes, Okanalp Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanalp Özdil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Okanalp Özdil in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Testa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Testa came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Danilo Testa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Danilo Testa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Testa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Okanalp Özdil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Michael in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Okanalp Özdil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Sabastian Rodriguez. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. Marciano Lekubegi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Testa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Candelaria FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
