Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Futebol Club Neto's Nelson Luz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Almir Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Basílio Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futebol Club Neto and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Futebol Club Neto got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro de Amaral. Mazinho de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Club Neto the free kick. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Igor da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Nelson Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelson Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 24th minute, one of Curacao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curacao. The referee gave Futebol Club Neto a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nelson Luz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Stanley Wallace notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Futebol Club Neto's Mazinho de Almeida. Mazinho de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 played minutes Futebol Club Neto got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho das Neves. In the 39th minute, Kyle Davies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Basílio Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Futebol Club Neto's Silvinho das Neves got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Curacao's Stanley Wallace ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mazinho de Almeida. Mazinho de Almeida yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Almir Félix scored 5-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Massa came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futebol Club Neto's Nelson Luz managed to work through Curacao's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nelson Luz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 77th minute Nelson Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nelson Luz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Futebol Club Neto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Luz couldn't finish the play. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor da Mata in the 85th minute of the match. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Luz in the 93rd minute of play. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futebol Club Neto walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
