Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. César Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Preuss. Sílvio Favoretto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, César Moraes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute, Tage Backlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Tage Backlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xiboquinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Backlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when César Moraes came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Xiboquinha FC's Tage Backlund made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manoel Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Manoel Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xiboquinha FC and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Couto. If Tage Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Tage Backlund scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 4-0. Jeremias Preuss took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tage Backlund was the one to do the kick off. When César Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Xiboquinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Moraes couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Xiboquinha FC's Tage Backlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Xiboquinha FC's César Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tage Backlund struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xiboquinha FC. César Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duda Nesta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Preuss in the 72nd minute of play. When Hector Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Hector Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. 77 minutes into the match, César Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 80 minutes into the match, Jeremias Preuss notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Xiboquinha FC's Tage Backlund in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers César Moraes in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraguay! César Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xiboquinha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paraguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
