Mohieddine Ayari scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Placido Gilabert. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Mohieddine Ayari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthew Garrido made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abraham Alguacil however managed to control. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Mohieddine Ayari hit a great ball. Big Hands made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute Mohieddine Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Mohieddine Ayari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Mohieddine Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Chris Velde. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mohieddine Ayari managed to get in a good position for a shot. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohieddine Ayari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mohieddine Ayari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB.
