A nice corner shot did that Gil Negri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. But to his dismay, Gabriel Hauche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 47th minute, Gil Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maní FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Hauche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Hauche in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. Maní FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Rzegotka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Hauche in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Hauche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wandy Petera in the 87th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Gabriel Hauche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 11-1 when Gabriel Hauche sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita.
