When Samuca Prata fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Patriots's protests and gave Samuca Prata a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes New England Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Prata. 4 minutes into the match, Curacao's Kyle Davies broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 7 played minutes New England Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Vasconcelos. Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toninho de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Harvey Doyle hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, New England Patriots's Amadeu Vasconcelos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, Stanley Wallace got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by New England Patriots's Jean Faria. But to his dismay, Jean Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Toninho de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Toninho de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Patriots fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Faria came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, New England Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Valdomiro Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
