Templars FC's André Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Courtois was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Benjamin Lara scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.J. 韩文海 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A.J. 韩文海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 27th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Benjamin Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Templars FC's André Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 34th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper A.J. 韩文海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Turri. Júnior Zanette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Courtois. Templars FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A.J. 韩文海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Serginho Busquets got a free kick in the 41st minute. Bahattin Çeliker hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Vieira in the 53rd minute of play. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, A.J. 韩文海 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Joinville Esporte Clube defense, Adelino Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of A.J. 韩文海. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that A.J. 韩文海 should have stopped the shot. Joinville Esporte Clube's Gino Vander was substituted for Kong Sang Han. When Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. If Jonathan Sammut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Templars FC's Ziya Onur Muzaffer was substituted for Adelino Marques. Templars FC made a substitution. Márk Kovács replaced Jonathan Sammut. 86 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Sena came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Templars FC's Márk Kovács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that A.J. 韩文海 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Márk Kovács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Engelborgh to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Joinville Esporte Clube could leave the field as winners, despite Templars FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
