Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roman Reynardo kicked off to start the match. Bruno Pascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gamberro's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Bruno Pascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Deportivo Gamberro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Pascal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Roman Reynardo sent off a good shot on target. Deportivo Gamberro's Bruno Pascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 20th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Dylan Sarmiento lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 24th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. The goalkeeper, Marcos Cotilla, was totally fooled by Deportivo Gamberro's Tony Manerov, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bruno Pascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Gamberro's Tony Manerov. But to his dismay, Tony Manerov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Deportivo Gamberro getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marcelo Orti hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Deportivo Gamberro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Orti to maneuver through the defense. Tony Manerov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 40th minute of play forced Deportivo Gamberro's goalkeeper Bruno Pascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Pascal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. A collision led to Deportivo Gamberro getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Roman Reynardo hit a great ball. Deportivo Gamberro made a substitution. Niceto Perpinya replaced Roman Reynardo. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Pascal having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Manerov in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Manerov in the 78th minute of play. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruno Pascal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bruno Pascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Gamberro booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Deportivo Gamberro players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
