Ivan Chiuzbaian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Sarmiento went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 19th minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 21st minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Grau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Chiuzbaian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Pedro Manzanares throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Chiuzbaian saved Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting behind. In the 43rd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Santino Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 61 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Iftode came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Olov Ahlbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran was substituted for Dacian Tilea. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. Ivan Chiuzbaian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Chiuzbaian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Chiuzbaian had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ignacio Mastache from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Colombia's Luis Cazalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Primitivo Grau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Abram Secada took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Ivan Chiuzbaian to make any attempt to save it. Colombia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
