Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santino Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Colombia booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Di Piazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 43 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stasio Bienienda. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bernardo Di Piazza hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Tafalla during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Iftode came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stasio Bienienda took the corner. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pascual Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Grau in the 79 minute of the game. After 79 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Jenaro. In the 81st minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
