Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zhao Yao Ying started the match with the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Hodei in the 7th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhao Yao Ying did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Marcos Cotilla 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Sakarias Walmarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Berganza fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Tomas Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, Zhao Yao Ying recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Zhao Yao Ying showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Cristian-Federico Dolić. But to his dismay, Cristian-Federico Dolić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 25th minute, Braulio Hodei had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Matthew Garrido charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Garrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oldham Athletic's Valter Abrahamsson was substituted for Braulio Hodei. In the 26th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksander Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match, Zhao Yao Ying got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zhao Yao Yings short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Marcos Cotilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

In the 52nd minute, Valter Abrahamsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oldham Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 55 minutes, Zhao Yao Ying made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Anxo Cecilia struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldham Athletic. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Guo Han Di successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian-Federico Dolić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zhao Yao Ying received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Oldham Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Anxo Cecilia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oldham Athletic fully deserved thier win.
