The supporters of Bolivia booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Benito Madrid got a free kick in the 5th minute. Xande Musiala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamine Xande in the 7th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Lamine Xande took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. Sidney de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emerson Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandino in the 17th minute of play. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Válbson Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. After 21 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xande Musiala who took care of the corner kick. Válbson Schmidt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sidney de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Lamine Xande did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Camilo Freixa 29 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Alfonso de la Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the New Joinville - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 33 minutes of play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lamine Xande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Lamine Xande's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Camilo Freixa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emerson Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandino in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Schmidt in the 53rd minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Sidney de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Válbson Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Guilherme Tavares replaced Emílio Martins. When Mario Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Fernandino couldn't finish the play. When Alejandro Villa fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alejandro Villa a yellow card for diving instead. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Válbson Schmidt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bolivia. When Durvalino Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Durvalino Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. Benito Madrid charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Madrid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Madrid hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Durvalino Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. When Alejandro Villa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th minute, Alejandro Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Durvalino Travassos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolivia's Julio Chicote quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 82nd minute Lamine Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolivia's Julio Chicote got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Julio Chicote off the ground. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamine Xande in the 86th minute of play. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute, Robinho de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After having played for 94 minutes, Válbson Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
