Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Cristian-Federico Dolić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. 12 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anxo Cecilia got free with Benito Sanz in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian-Federico Dolić took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 21st play minutes Cristian-Federico Dolić shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Filippo Bobbio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Guo Han Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anxo Cecilia got free with Benito Sanz in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Anxo Cecilia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oldham Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Zhao Yao Ying could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The corner led to Oldham Athletic's Anxo Cecilia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

51 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yao Ying came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 minutes, Zhao Yao Ying made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Cristian-Federico Dolić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Zhao Yao Ying took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The Oldham Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. Gösta Brolin replaced Muhammed-Emir Benice. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. Sune Axelsson replaced Cristian-Federico Dolić. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Braulio Hodei. But to his dismay, Braulio Hodei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhao Yao Ying went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Axelsson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Abrahamsson in the 80th minute of play. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying. But to his dismay, Zhao Yao Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Yao Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 15-0 when Zhao Yao Ying sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. When the referee ended the match the Oldham Athletic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
