Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Paraense in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, LUIZ PANATO's Zhao Yue Cheng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Zhao Yue Cheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of El Salvador booed when LUIZ PANATO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Aki Guardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Zhao Yue Cheng put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Orlando Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LUIZ PANATO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Orlando Paraense hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Zhao Yue Cheng lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Ricardo Zorita. Tostão Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, LUIZ PANATO's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zhao Yue Cheng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aki Guardo in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Yue Cheng's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Zhao Yue Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 59 minutes into the match, Abram Luque dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guto Taffarel, 6-1. Pedro Luiz Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Moises Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the LUIZ PANATO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Yue Cheng in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yue Cheng came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Zhao Yue Cheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yue Cheng came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Guardo in the 95th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LUIZ PANATO had played much better football throughout.
