Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilixo Urquijo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilixo Urquijo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 3rd minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ilixo Urquijo sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. 10 minutes into the match, Ilixo Urquijo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilixo Urquijo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ilixo Urquijo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Tome Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Palomares in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Harvey Doyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL COMANDANTE the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ilixo Urquijo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilixo Urquijo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Loren Barroso struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL COMANDANTE. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Uria in the 28th minute of the match. When EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Uria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 39 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ilixo Urquijo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Delmar Palomares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, EL COMANDANTE's Gonzo Sobrado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Palomares in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilixo Urquijo in the 58th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Ilixo Urquijo came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Palomares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Curacao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EL COMANDANTE:s goal. Bruno Barrett went to the wrong direction when Ilixo Urquijo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 72 minutes into the match, EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Barrett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilixo Urquijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Delmar Palomares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Delmar Palomares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Ramiréz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Ilixo Urquijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, EL COMANDANTE's Delmar Palomares made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EL COMANDANTE's Mario Ramiréz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 97th minute Ilixo Urquijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the EL COMANDANTE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
