Cleto Frechoso ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Frechoso in the 39th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Cecilio Uxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, PLUMIN's Francisco Luzea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Francisco Luzea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PLUMIN protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Francisco Luzea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half CF Scalonetos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Frechoso to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PLUMIN booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Romildo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmed Long prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Restu to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Octavio Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Romildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The PLUMIN fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when PLUMIN's Angelo Romildo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Octavio Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmed Long read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute PLUMIN were awarded a corner. Nistor Hrean went to the cornerflag to take it. Nistor Hrean made a great header on PLUMIN's corner, it was just that CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long managed to reach the ball for a save. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cristofol in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, PLUMIN's Angelo Romildo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Long was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PLUMIN had played much better football throughout.
