Severo Ibon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 59 minutes into the game, Lucio Abajas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erubiel Cerilo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that CLATHU were the better team. CLATHU's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
