Chicão Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmed Long read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Evelio Urtats got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long got control of the ball when Claudinei Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Ahmed Long had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Brito. In the 17th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Galsino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Raul Jaizki hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Evelio Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei Brito came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmed Long could save by the left post. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Corrêa in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Evelio Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Claudinei Brito got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chicão Corrêa to make the kick off. Severino Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Giovanni de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cleto Frechoso went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Frechoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Alejo Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Corrêa in the 72nd minute of the match. Emílio Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ahmed Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Long showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 89 minutes, Jano Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the CF Scalonetos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Corrêa. CF Scalonetos were furious when Raul Jaizki was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. CF Scalonetos:s Ahmed Long showed great skill when he stopped Chicão Corrêa:s penalty. Emílio Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Long having to interfere. Ahmed Long came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Minotauro's Chicão Corrêa. But to his dismay, Chicão Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
