Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Corrêa came free, but Bradley Longstaffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Minotauro from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Minotauro booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Morcom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricki Gervais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradley Longstaffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Brito in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Danny Booth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Ricki Gervais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kaká Recife's late challenge caught a Egg Chasers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaká Recife helped the player get up and apologised. Kaká Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Claudinei Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minotauro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Brito in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradley Longstaffe saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Claudinei Brito sped through Egg Chasers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bradley Longstaffe. 40 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Brito came free, but Bradley Longstaffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Giovanni de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricki Gervais. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Ricki Gervais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Jay Palmer. Bradley Longstaffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Corrêa in the 57th minute of the match. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Morcom in the 59th minute of play. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricki Gervais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni de Toledo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse. But to his dismay, Damian Stonehouse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 68th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Bowden to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Kaká Recife in the 69th minute of play was well struck, but Bradley Longstaffe made a really good save at the right post. In the 71st minute Chicão Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Longstaffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Damian Stonehouse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Gervais in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Danny Booth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Ricki Gervais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
