The tension between the Tiburones Rojos and the Rayland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 92nd minute of play forced Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Fanis Bakosis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Roger Bannister had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fanis Bakosis. Tiburones Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Bannister was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rayland FC had won after a very even match.
