Caio Penha had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Aprígio Tomé's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Emanuel Mingo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Caio Penha. Emanuel Mingo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Teofilo Pere got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute CLATHU were awarded a corner. Cristóbal Colon went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Mingo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caio Penha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21st minute Durval Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CLATHU booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lon Lanteigne didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Clementi in the 24th minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Caio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lon Lanteigne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Osorio having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Durval Meireles put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabe Osorio. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durval Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, CLATHU's Bernabe Osorio got control of the ball when Lon Lanteigne tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Bernabe Osorio managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when BRASIL.Sp's Lon Lanteigne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute Durval Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
