An unexpectedly hard shot by David Batuhin in the 5th minute of play forced CERPA's goalkeeper Eugenio Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, CERPA's goalkeeper Eugenio Asier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Batuhin. When David Batuhin came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Cuatrodeocho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Batuhin couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Asier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Batuhin's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Eugenio Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Victoriano Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rambo Jon. Cuatrodeocho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. David Batuhin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Asier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Wilhelm Volle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rambo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Giorgos Puyol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuatrodeocho's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Puyol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that David Batuhin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Asier was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. CERPA's Eugenio Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Batuhin in the 43rd minute of play. David Batuhin didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 43rd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and David Batuhin ran dejectedly back to his position. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Giorgos Puyol got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 52 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by David Batuhin. Victoriano Tonete came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rambo Jon could save by the left post. Eugenio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Batuhin in the 57th minute of the match. Eugenio Asier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Batuhin's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Iván Villafane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Asier was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 97 minutes, Douglas Denturck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERPA and the Cuatrodeocho players grew even worse after the yellow card.
