Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gebrüdersdorfer SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Backer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dênis Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabri Kutberk in the 8th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Hoffmann having to interfere. Dênis Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dênis Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dejan Attard during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dejan Attard kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Gebrüdersdorfer SV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Camillo Di Pietro hit a great ball. Dênis Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 15th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gebrüdersdorfer SV's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match, Sabri Kutberk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Hoffmann having to interfere. Lionel Mesías blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Mesías in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Mesías in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Dênis Hoffmann did a great save. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dênis Hoffmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 38 minutes, Sabri Kutberk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabri Kutberk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabri Kutberks short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sabri Kutberk hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dênis Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Kutberk in the 59th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lionel Mesías in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Sabri Kutberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Haşmet Yerel was substituted for Fernan Atauri. In the 67th match minute, Gebrüdersdorfer SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabri Kutberk to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dênis Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Dênis Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Valdo Ortiz was substituted for Lionel Mesías. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Dênis Hoffmann did a great save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 95th minute.
