Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Rutledge took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvald Uter. Albert Rutledge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Rutledge in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Sune Dahlberg came free in the 28th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jonathan Ferrant, but to the joy of Venezuela's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Felix Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of the match. LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter suffered a concussion in the 37th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 37 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the LA VIOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. LA VIOLA made a substitution. Tage Löfgren replaced Osvald Uter. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 40th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sune Dahlberg in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Jens-Ove Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Löfgren in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for LA VIOLA. Albert Rutledge stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. In the 64th minute Tage Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Tage Löfgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA VIOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Patricio Costa fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 68th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Svante Bäckman in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LA VIOLA had won, even though Venezuela had held more of the ball.
