Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caco Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Prestes in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Caco Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edmílson da Rocha hit a great ball. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caco Azevedo having to make a save. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Murilo Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Azevedo having to interfere. The SORRISO E. C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gustavo Romero hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caco Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute Cléber da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SORRISO E. C.'s zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Prestes in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. 72 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SORRISO E. C.'s Ryszard Iwanowski fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caco Azevedo. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. Caco Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes SORRISO E. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Caco Azevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The attack was good, but when Luca Zorita in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ryszard Iwanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
