Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ola Lagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaro Casas in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Ola Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. Amaro Casas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Bahiano Camarasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Gasso in the 21st minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ola Lagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Nores stood somewhat misplaced when Amaro Casas came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Amaro Casas scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 5-0. 38 minutes into the match, Amaro Casas notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st play minute Ola Lagerberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 7-0. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amaro Casas went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Triana Rep. Ind.'s Adulfo Alcantara was substituted for Cirino Verdeja. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Ola Lagerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Ola Lagerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Ola Lagerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ola Lagerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The Triana Rep. Ind. fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Triana Rep. Ind.'s Ola Lagerberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Lagerberg in the 68th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xiao Gasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd match minute, Triana Rep. Ind. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amaro Casas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Ola Lagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triana Rep. Ind.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Lagerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 minutes, Ola Lagerberg made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adulfo Alcantara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amaro Casas in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Ola Lagerberg notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Lagerberg in the 95th minute of play. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
