In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Guntademaro Goyenechea put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Guntademaro Goyenechea took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 20th minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 23rd minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Guntademaro Goyenecheas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renato Goycolea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The General Velásquez fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 51st play minutes Guntademaro Goyenechea shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. 54 minutes into the match, Renato Goycolea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Goycolea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. The audience was convinced that Guntademaro Goyenechea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. General Velásquez made a substitution. Teofan Bozadzhiyski replaced Marciano Gibson. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Goycolea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. After 87th play minutes Guntademaro Goyenechea shot 15-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Guntademaro Goyenechea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renato Goycolea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save.
