The crowd rose to their feet as Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tiberiu Fința, made in the 10th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Marciano Min kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tiberiu Fința hit a great ball. Cirilo Ebardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Saul Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant went to the wrong direction when Saul Baumer was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Saul Baumer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 56th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Florentino Lastur replaced Cirilo Ebardo. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Zuberbühler FC's Jonathan Iruinea. But to his dismay, Jonathan Iruinea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Baumer in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Saul Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Baumer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Iruinea in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tiberiu Fința made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Saul Lamberto however managed to control. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zuberbühler FC fully deserved thier win.
