The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Julian Chaime looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Anastasio Tibalt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Gil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Luckas Baert came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Luckas Baerts short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arturo Christobal succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Julian Chaime's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Luckas Baert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Chaime took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Luckas Baert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luckas Baert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Salvador Gil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Costa Rica. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luckas Baert to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Luckas Baert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Chaime in the 57th minute of play. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's András Tóth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 from getting a goal against them. Julian Chaime scored 6-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Gil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luckas Baert, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luckas Baert in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luckas Baert in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Arturo Christobal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luckas Baert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Christobal took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Arturo Christobal. But to his dismay, Arturo Christobal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 87th minute Luckas Baert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luckas Baert in the 89th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luckas Baert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Hug. If Anastasio Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Tibalt came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
