Matouš Carda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. 3 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Yin Si came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 15 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Matouš Carda made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! August Wahlnäs took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Wahlnäs in the 19th minute of the match. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Jan Bykowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 26th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, AFC - Curitiba's Silvio Asier tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Matouš Carda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matouš Carda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 34th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Bykowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 39th minute, August Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Bykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. AFC - Curitiba made a substitution. Romário Ortiz replaced Zhang Yin Si. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, El Salvador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matouš Carda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The AFC - Curitiba fans' excitement grew in the 50th match minute when AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvio Asier, made in the 55th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, Matouš Carda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Lorenzo Yepes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Asier in the 64th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matouš Carda in the 67th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário Ortiz went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jan Bykowski put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. A collision led to AFC - Curitiba getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Silvio Asier hit a great ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Bykowski in the 87th minute of play. Jan Bykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matouš Carda in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Bykowski came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Bykowski in the 99th minute of play. AFC - Curitiba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
