The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jamaica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Elvis Waller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Stacey Eason got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Burnett having to interfere. When Jamaica's Finlay Stair in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jeff Randall helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes River tu grato nombre got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Randall. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvis Waller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamaall Padmore kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Karlus Waugh hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Waller in the 57th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Elvis Waller made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 60 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River tu grato nombre the free kick. Walter Goodwin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Jayson Burnett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes River tu grato nombre got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Randall. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 77th minute of play forced River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Jayson Burnett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, River tu grato nombre's Calvin Brand made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Elvis Waller made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Brand in the 91st minute of play.
