Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 冯岩坚 in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Gernando Ribeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Alda Malheiro's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but 徐强国 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Gernando Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Ribeiro in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gernando Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 尤阳誉 came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Alda Malheiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 尤阳誉 couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Bertie Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武勇宇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Gernando Ribeiro put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alda Malheiro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
