Mojotoro AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ezequiel Tonete showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Filiberto Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mojotoro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Cordarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Filiberto Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Ezequiel Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Ezequiel Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Tonetes short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Tonete got free with Jacobo Nores in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 38 in the game by Filiberto Cordarrell from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. If Jamie Leemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Mojotoro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Jesus Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Orlondo having to interfere. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Porfiro in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Tonete came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Mojotoro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Cesario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mojotoro AFC had won after a very even match.
