The referee ignored FC Draconia's protests and gave Paco Fernandez-Solino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Paco Fernandez-Solino hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benny Hill in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Benny Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Benny Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Benny Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Hill in the 35th minute of play. FC Draconia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benny Van der Poorten in the 40th minute. FC Draconia's Benny Hill suffered a concussion in the 43rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Navarro during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Draconia made a substitution. Gregoire Decorte replaced Benny Hill. The referee gave FC Draconia a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benny Van der Poorten, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Gregoire Decorte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Gregoire Decorte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Jerome Ngake successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gregoire Decorte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Jerome Ngake successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 73rd minute. Pascual Carballar got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kevin Mastache. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Draconia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregoire Decorte in the 85th minute of play. When Harald Sulems fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Draconia's protests and gave Harald Sulems a yellow card for diving instead. When Colombia's Abram Secada in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Draconia's goalie prevented a goal. Walter Bernaerts was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
