The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dražen Ladić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ionel Bălăiță might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dražen Ladić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionel Bălăiță ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 played minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Bastide. If Marcelo Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mauro Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 14th minute of play. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Mariano Bladi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dražen Ladić. Mauro Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a corner. Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martín Ferreyra ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Martín Ferreyra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mauro Cunha did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Rolando Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Cordero went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD got a freekick which was hit by Bento Candal. 42 minutes into the game, Bento Candal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabadim Harammes PRD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eder Lopes was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Mariano Bladi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić. Dražen Ladić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Bălăiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when Sabadim Harammes PRD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Bastide didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Bladi in the 90th minute of play. Mauro Cunha came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Zheng Jing Feng. But to his dismay, Zheng Jing Feng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
