Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mariano Calixto sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Ricardo Zorita managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Guansa's Mariano Calixto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Calixto's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Abram Luque took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Mendiko. Fidel Mendiko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Mendiko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Ordono. Mauro Ordono hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Mendiko having to interfere. Moises Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Mendiko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. When Braulio Vachon fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guansa's protests and gave Braulio Vachon a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Vachon.

The wind increased when Mariano Calixto made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Urtungo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Urtungo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Urtungo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Braulio Vachon got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Calixto in the 61st minute of play. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgard Bazkoare in the 63 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Fidel Mendiko in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Mariano Calixto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Calixto came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guansa's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Mendiko came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Vachon in the 76th minute of the match. Guansa's Erubiel Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Guansa booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Cesar Opilano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. After 92 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Bazkoare. 96 minutes into the match, Mariano Calixto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
