Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Bladi came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 8th minute of play forced Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalkeeper Mauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eder Lopes. After having played for 12 minutes, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Bălăiță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Dražen Ladić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sabadim Harammes PRD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Castelo Branco in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Bento Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mariano Bladi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dražen Ladić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Bladi in the 28th minute of the match. Marcelo Cordero scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Bladi in the 35th minute of the match. Mauro Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Bladi in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Eder Lopes came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes in the game, Ionel Bălăiță dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After the first half Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță in the 52nd minute of play. Herbert Bastide made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Abel Castelo Branco. Estevão Benevides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mauro Cunha made a huge save. The supporters of Sabadim Harammes PRD booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Jose Rayman replaced Estevão Benevides. The supporters of Sabadim Harammes PRD booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Bălăiță in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Bladi in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dražen Ladić saved Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT from getting behind. In the 70th minute Mariano Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Zheng Jing Feng was substituted for Marcelo Cordero. After a rather tough play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Herbert Bastide got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martín Ferreyra to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes of play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Eder Lopes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dražen Ladić was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Eder Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zheng Jing Feng in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th play minute Zheng Jing Feng came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mauro Cunha. 1-2. The Sabadim Harammes PRD manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT to win.
