Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Pardo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute Vitaliy Eliseev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Спартак got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timofey Buznikin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Спартак's Timofey Buznikin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 유 길 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ebi Smolarek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Eliseev in the 19th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Eliseev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 유 길 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clay Addison's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clay Addison helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Спартак got a freekick which was hit by Clay Addison. A collision led to Спартак getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Armin Mustakivi hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Iker Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Спартак the free kick. Iker Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Vitaliy Eliseev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ebi Smolarek got free with Jacobo Nores in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 유 길 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitaliy Eliseev in the 39th minute. Ebi Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. During the 44th minute of the match Clay Addison completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Clay Addison a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.

Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Mustakivi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Спартак was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Mustakivi to maneuver through the defense. When Juan Diego Tenorio came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Diego Tenorio couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes Спартак got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Eliseev. Egor Titov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Спартак the free kick. The supporters of Спартак booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Sanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Спартак was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitaliy Eliseev to maneuver through the defense. Vitaliy Eliseev kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Egor Titov came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egor Titov, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Armin Mustakivi struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Спартак. After having played for 91 minutes, Armin Mustakivi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Спартак's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Mustakivi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes, Raul Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Спартак players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 유 길 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
