The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Rudy Trotter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Fred Renteria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Tuan Tackett threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 63rd match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernso Constant to maneuver through the defense. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Kirkpatrick in the 65th minute of the match.
